November 15-17, APS took part in mediation talks with CBC Radio-Canada regarding the 2009 Memorandum of Agreement on Pension surplus sharing and the costs of the Supplementary Health Care Plan. No agreement was reached and no further mediation sessions are planned.
The Corporation has taken the position that the agreement is no longer in effect, whereas the agreement itself has no expiry, merely stating that it be reviewed every ten years. The matter had been scheduled for arbitration which will proceed in February.
