Members’ Annual General Assembly

The day after the National Council, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, the Members’ Annual General Meeting starts at 11 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to disclose the election results following the vote held electronically during the week of November 1, 2021. This year, there are two items on the ballot: 1 – the renewal of the external auditors Désormeaux, Patenaude Inc.’s mandate; 2 – Amend the By-Laws to give the National Executive Committee sole responsibility to choose the accounting firm for the Financial Statements. (refer to the article Why vote YES to abolish a national consultation?) https://www.apscbcsrc.org/en/top-stories/new-why-vote-yes-to-abolish-a-national-consultation/

The two regional Directors have been elected by acclamation. The Director’s position for the Western region remains vacant to date. All APS positions are submitted to a two-year rotating mandate.

Two election officers representing each network will be appointed to oversee proceedings. They will be responsible for announcing the results by connecting to the company conducting the consultation, Big Pulse.
